A foam dressing soaked in Burnshield sterile trauma hydrogel, supplied in a foil pouch. The Burnshield Face Masks can be applied directly onto the face. With its high water content, Burnshield Hydrogel cools and soothes by absorbing and dissipating heat which minimises skin damage. It is non-stick and will not adhere to the wound. It is non toxic and non irritant. Safe to use on Children.

Burnshield is applicable to all types of burns during the Emergency phase without restriction to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd degree burns, given the potential significant progression of burns within the first hour.
The Burnshield Face Mask 200mm x 450mm (8″x18″) is a fibreless elastic open-cell foam sheet dressing soaked in Burnshield sterile hydrogel, supplied in a foil pouch. This dressing was specifically designeds for facial burns and allocates holes for the eyes, nose and mouth.The Foam Dressing is designed for optimal heat dissipation. It conforms to the wound area.

Facial Burn
- Open the sterile package.
- Remove Foam Dressing from package.
- Apply Foam Dressing over the face.
- Ventilation holes are provided for the nose and mouth area.
- Re-apply Burnshield Hydrogel to the dressing to prevent the wound from dehydrating.
- Seek medical attention if needed.
