Ideal for immobilizing injured or fractured limbs
First care for any wounds, then stabilize the injured area and immobilise it using the splints.
Measure splint appropriately, then apply splint to immobiliSe limb above and below injury.
Pad splint as necessary, then secure splint in place.
Reassess circulation and motor and sensory function. Elevate splinted part, if possible.
