What is SPF (Sun Protection Factor)?
The measurement for the amount of time the sunscreen will protect you from ultraviolet (UV) rays. Sun exposure can cause sunburn, skin aging, wrinkles and cancer. Sunscreen needs to be applied liberally in order to be effective.
- UVA penetrates deep into the dermis causing skin aging
- UVB penetrates the top layer of skin causing sun burn and skin cancer
SPF 30 means that a sunscreen protects your skin from UV rays 30 times better than without sunscreen.
SPF 50 means that a sunscreen protects your skin from UV rays 50 times better than without sunscreen.

1. Shake well before use.
2. Apply liberally to face and body for maximum protection.
3. Re-apply after swimming, towelling or every 45-60 minutes (depending on skin type).
UVA rays can penetrate clouds and glass, so you should protect your skin even if it’s cloudy or rainy.
Avoid exposure during the hottest hours of the day (10am – 4pm)
